Road Safety Week

This week is Road Safety Week. Road Safety Week aims to raise awareness about what we can do to make roads safer and prevent needless tragedies. We are among thousands of communities, schools and organisations that have signed up to be part of the UK’s flagship road safety event!

Everyone – kids and adults – should be able to walk and cycle in their communities, for their health and enjoyment, and as a sustainable way to get to work or school, without their lives being endangered.

Road Safety Week, 19-25 November, is coordinated by the charity Brake, and supported by headline sponsors Brain Injury Group and Specsavers. For more information you can visit www.roadsafetyweek.org.uk or you can speak to our school Road Safety officers and look at our new Road Safety board in the library.
